Calling All Prayers

Okay my loyal and persistent prayer warriors...it's time to bombard The Man Upstairs. The Dr. is getting all her ducks in a row so we can hopefully begin treatment tomorrow. We need to start treatment ASAP. We need to turn a corner. The leukemia is starting to creep up on Pat, and we will be having none of that. He's bruising much more and he has nasty mouth sores. Please pray that this treatment is the magic bullet we've been waiting for. Pat could sure use some good news, as could the kids and I. I realize it's all in God's time and completely in his hands. With myself being such a control freak, ( yes, I can admit it!)not being able to fix this situation is very difficult....but I'm learning, slowly. Your blogs as usual have been so touching, a special thank you to Blake for being such a loyal and awesome blogger. It's going to take an army to beat this enemy, lucky for us we have the strongest bunch of soldiers behind us. My most heartfelt and sincere thanks to you all. Now let's all get to praying!!! Good night and good health.
xoxo,
Jules

Julie--

I don't pray very often, so when I do pray God knows it's important.

And I'm praying tonight for you & Pat and his getting healthy.

This blog IS amazing with all the loving family and loving friends you have!

Dear Pat & Jules,

We will continue to pray, to believe, to hope and to know that God is in charge. He will bring you through this......His hand is upon you at all times. Never lose sight of His amazing grace, love and mercy.

Pat, Julie and family,
It is early Tuesday morning and I just read your blog. I have been praying steadily and will continue to do so. I got my Corrie ten Boom book out and found a passage I thought would be inspirational to you:

Have you got any rivers you think are uncrossable?

Have you got any mountains you cannot tunnel through?

Our God specializes in things called impossible...

He can do what no one else can do.

Continue steadfastly in prayer...

That is what we all must do and will do until Pat is well.

Love you all,

Aunt Marcie

Hey guys...I'm picturing the leukemia cells being blasted to bits and the healthy cells taking over. EVERYONE out there needs to picture the same thing!!! Just picure our old favorite Atari games... Ms. Pacman as the chemo and it's eating up all the leukemia...or Asteroids...blasting the enemy!!! We love you and think about you all the time. Love, Dayna, Chelsea, and Tanner.

Pat,

I just wanted to let you know that myself and all the guys at the shop are thinking of you at all times! I've been around you virtually every weekday for the last 18 years and I know just how tough, sharp, and persistent you are and that you WILL beat this thing!

Granted, you are making it interesting, but who wants a boring blog anyway? All these trials and tribulations will make your recovery that much sweeter in the end.

We're sending you positive thoughts and karma so just keep fighting until they get the right cocktail that hurls you down the road to recovery.

Steve and the guys
