What we know today

Okay here's the news for Tuesday. It looks like we will be able to start the clinical trial one week from next Monday...so basically in two weeks. In the meantime the Dr has stumbled across a drug that she may be able to start tomorrow that has showed some promise in ALL patients. She needs to do a little more research to make sure it won't disrupt our ability to enter the clinical trial, more news on that tomorrow. The great news and the answer to our prayers is that we can receive treatment here. Of course we'd go to the moon if we had to, but I really prayed to keep us local. I didn't want to leave our children while we left for who knows how long, it was scary...Chloe needs her mommy!!!(I'm sure she'd beg to differ) More than that, I need my kids, they keep me focused on the prize....a healthy Pat!!! Here's what's on our prayer requests for today, Pat's strength, his heart to continue to get stronger, wisdom for all the Doctors treating Pat, and continued courage and faith for my children and I. Love, Hope and Faith to all our friends and family.
xoxo,
Jules

Hi,

Let me be the first to celebrate this great news!!! It was way past time for you kids to get some good news...Having a date for the start of the trial is fantastic as is the news that you won't have to travel. My prayer is to get Pat home with his family with a healthy body and spirit. We all know this is going to happen and now we have a DATE to continue the process. As always, we love you and are so proud of how you are both handling this BEAST! And, Brady, Brock and Chloe you have made us such proud grandparents - love you all!!!

Pat,
Good news is always welcome. Glad you don't have to travel for treatment. Keep on fighting. We'll keep on praying.

Ditto to Nancy and Bob!! Everything you just said is what we are all thinking... Julie, I know you would of taken Pat to the moon if that is where he needed to get the treatment. Staying here is the best news EVER... Always thinking of you all and admire the strength you have as a family. Thanks for the update!! I know we have many many angels watching over us... Love to you all, Sandy

Hi Pat,

Jim and I want you to know that we say a pray for you and your family everyday. We know what you're going through from experience with our son. You can beat this, just remember to stay strongh and positive. You have so many people praying for you and your family I know you'll get well. Our son has, so we know you can beat the ugly beast. My dad checks on you daily also. We send our love and prayers.

Thank goodness (GOD) for keeping Pat here as opposed to sending him 'abroad'! That sounds funny doesn't it? Who came up with that line? Perhaps Pat would like to be sent abroad. No that's not what I mean. I mean, well, let's change the subject...Julie, remember when you were pregnant and had the short curly perm and you went looking for Pat? (Now maybe that's a picture you should post on your blog for all our viewing pleasure.) Your faithful readers like to be entertained too.

Hope you all have a good day today. Keep blogging.

Today I remain anonymous after all this babble!
